There are experiments that add H2O2 after the iron-carbon reaction, and the Fe2+ generated by the anode reaction can be used as a catalyst for subsequent catalytic oxidation treatment, that is, Fe2+ and H2O2 constitute the Fenton reagent oxidation system, and the new ecology [H] generated by the cathodic reaction can undergo redox reaction with many components in the wastewater to destroy the chromogenic groups (such as azo groups) in the dye intermediate molecules. Decolorize it, and through the iron-carbon aeration reaction, a large number of hydrogen ions are consumed, which increases the pH value of the wastewater and creates conditions for subsequent catalytic oxidation treatment.
