Recently, the Ministry of Roads and Transport Development of Mongolia launched a fully digital e-service integrated platform with a total of 94 services. This initiative enables citizens to access services anytime, anywhere**, without having to visit an agency in person. Among them, important services include the issuance and renewal of motor vehicle certificates, the inquiry and issuance of driver's licenses, the ordering of intercity public transport tickets, the payment of intercity tolls, and the application of 21 special license plates.

In particular, it is worth mentioning that through the establishment of a unified platform, the integration with 18 systems has been realized, 156 electronic data archives have been established, and 850 pieces of data have been registered in real time, thus realizing the electronic real-time exchange of paper statistical information. In addition, it is connected with the unified platform of various systems such as highways, road transportation, civil aviation, railways, and maritime transportation, which promotes the digitalization process of related industries.

Minister of Roads and Transport Development SCommenting on the initiative, Byambatsogt said: "2023 was declared the Year of Total Digitalization, Productivity Improvement, Accountability and Results. Keeping transportation services open quickly, congestion-free, and transparent is essential for the country. In order to meet the demand for fast passenger and freight services, we have set a clear goal: citizens can enjoy the service from their mobile phones at home, without having to visit the establishment in person. In this context, 94 services related to the road and transport sector are being digitised so that citizens can freely access relevant news and information. ”

During the event, the Road Transport Development Center publicized services such as the issuance and renewal of vehicle certificates and qualified driver's licenses through electronic payment points, passenger booking on the Ulaanbaatar Railway, registration and special permits for water vehicles and vessels by the Maritime Administration, e-tickets from the National Road Transport Center, and an integrated transportation system.

Deputy Director of the State Road Transport Agency TSErdenechuluun introduced an app called "Auto Box" that will offer a full range of services. "By 2023, the National Road Transport Centre will achieve the goal of digitalization of operations," he said. In the process, the e-invoicing service has been successfully implemented for five years. Of the 1.4 million travelers, 56% booked their tickets online. Technical inspections, registrations, and activities related to the transportation of goods between states have also been digitized. In order to better serve the public, we will soon launch the 'Car Box' app, which can conveniently use their mobile phones to request a car. By digitizing vehicle certificates and qualified driver's licenses, we will provide citizens with easy access to information and services within 24 hours. ”
