For the current situation of China's intangible cultural heritage protection, Lu Yingchuan introduced that up to now, China has more than 100,000 representative intangible cultural heritage projects at all levels, including 1,557 national intangible cultural heritage representative projects, and more than 90,000 representative inheritors at all levels, including 3,062 representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage, and a total of 43 items have been included in the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list and list, contributing Chinese colors to the diversity of world culture.

Lu Yingchuan said that in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, under the great attention of the first and the promotion of a series of policies and measures, a series of important achievements have been made in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

First, the inheritance and protection system has been fully established. Whether it is an intangible cultural heritage item or an intangible cultural heritage inheritor, a series of list systems, identification systems, and evaluation systems have been comprehensively established, which have effectively promoted the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

Second, the channels and ways of safeguarding and inheriting intangible cultural heritage have been continuously expanded. There are not only projects and inheritors, but also the establishment of intangible cultural heritage centers, intangible cultural heritage workshops, national cultural and ecological reserves, and intangible cultural heritage protection demonstration bases. For example, more than 6,700 intangible cultural heritage workshops have been set up across the country, covering poverty alleviation counties and key counties for rural revitalization, which has played a very important role in promoting rural revitalization. For another example, 23 national cultural and ecological protection (experimental) zones have been set up, and 100 national demonstration bases for the productive protection of intangible cultural heritage have been established. Third, the innovation and development of intangible cultural heritage is very active. The market for cultural and creative products developed based on intangible cultural heritage is very active, rich and diverse, and market inheritance is the most effective inheritance. Through the development of some new products, it not only promotes the inheritance of skills, but also makes intangible cultural heritage better accessible to consumers and demanders.

Fourth, the dissemination and popularization of intangible cultural heritage have been carried out extensively. For example, various intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and intangible cultural heritage festivals have been held, which have promoted the awareness of intangible cultural heritage and mobilized the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the whole society to pay attention to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
