Brazil: 50 primary and secondary school teachers gathered in S o Paulo to explore Fun Chinese Teach

São Paulo, December 20 (Ye Dan) -- The Confucius Institute at the State University of São Paulo, Brazil, recently held a Chinese language teaching and research training for 50 Brazilian primary and secondary school teachers at the Paulistano Language Research Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

Ru Chenxi, a local teacher from the Confucius Institute at the State University of São Paulo, Brazil, gave a Xi on Chinese language teaching with the theme of "Exploring the Chinese World: A Fun Chinese Learning Xi Journey for Brazilian Children and Teenagers". Through free communication, the participating teachers have a new and deeper understanding of Chinese language and Chinese teaching.

In the lecture, Ru Chenxi introduced the relevant knowledge of Chinese teaching from four aspects: the characteristics of Chinese, the Xi objectives of Chinese language learning, the benefits of learning Xi Chinese, and the skills and examples of Chinese teaching.

On the same day, teachers from the Confucius Institute at the State University of São Paulo also set up a Chinese culture experience workshop, allowing Brazilian primary and secondary school teachers to experience the beauty of Chinese characters and the charm of traditional Chinese culture through various activities such as drawing Chinese characters, writing Chinese characters, cutting Chinese characters, and blowing ink paintings.

The Paulistano Language Research Center of São Paulo is a new free linguistic Xi center of the São Paulo Municipal Education Bureau, whose function is to provide foreign language courses for students in public primary and secondary schools of the São Paulo Municipal Education Bureau, and has already offered courses in German, Spanish, French, English, Italian and Japanese.

Thaís Blasio Martins, head of the curriculum department of the São Paulo City Education Bureau, said that the center is currently actively promoting Chinese language courses with the Confucius Institute of São Paulo State University, and this event has further strengthened the confidence and determination of the center's teachers, students and staff to participate in Chinese language courses.

In cooperation with the Paulistano Language Research Center of São Paulo, the Confucius Institute at São Paulo State University has expanded its "circle of friends", providing a good opportunity to open up a new position in Chinese teaching. (ENDS).
