Who could have imagined that a horror movie could make the audience cry.

This sentence actually refers to the South Korean film "Happy Family" released in 2010.

Although the title of the film is "Happy", in reality, there are not many jokes in the whole film, and even in the first hundred minutes, the audience may find it a little boring.

The story revolves around a frustrated young man named Shanwan.

That day, determined to commit suicide, he walked into a hotel and opened an hourly room, planning to end his life by taking medication. He bought a few packets of medicines from the waiter and put them in his room. However, when he was taking a large number of pills, a** abruptly interrupted his plans.

The owner of the hotel informed him that the time was running out and that the excess time would be counted as a full day. He thought, isn't this just waiting for medicine?Shang Wan was very unhappy when he heard this, and felt that it was too much of a loss to die if he couldn't die, so he quickly swallowed the pill before the time was ripe.

When the owner of the inn comes to chase him away, he discovers that the drug has begun to work, causing him to pass out on the ground. At this time, the ghost gate was discovered again, and the ghost gate was opened like this. Fortunately, the owner of the inn called the police in time and succeeded in saving Shang Wan from the brink of death.

When Shanwan woke up, he was not overjoyed that he had been rescued in time, on the contrary, he felt a little depressed because he had tried suicide several times without success.

He chose to end his life, mainly because of the deepening loneliness in his heart. He is an orphan, his father is a doctor, his mother is a **, he has lived in poverty since he was a child. He grew up in an orphanage and did not experience the warmth of home, nor did he feel the emotion of being surrounded by love.

As a result, he felt a deep loss of the world, and he firmly believed that it was only through death that he could truly be set free.

However, it was precisely because of his unsuccessful suicide attempt that he gained a special ability to communicate with the spirit world.

However, it is precisely because of his psychic abilities that ghosts begin to haunt him, causing him to be almost trapped in a psychiatric hospital, unable to come out. When he was unconscious, he heard his voice suddenly disappear, and he thought it was someone else talking, so he told his family about his voice, but he did not receive any help. Luckily, he managed to escape from the psychiatric hospital by skillfully solving the problem.

However, life after his departure is not as good as it gets, and the ghosts always look for opportunities to get close to him, causing him to eat and drink, causing him to suffer and lose his humanity.

To solve this problem, he enlisted the assistance of a master. The Master told him that the best way to send away the ghosts that haunted him was to grant their wish and let them leave as they wished.

As a result, Shanwan sets out to assist his four ghosts in granting their wishes.

The plot of the whole movie is smooth and natural, but its biggest drawback is that it has done too much foreshadowing for the last ten minutes. In these few minutes, the plot developed quite quickly, almost making people have time to react, and some viewers didn't even say a word. Moreover, the plot of the first hundred minutes or so is also quite boring, without too many twists and turns.

It was only the story between the owner of the depot and his wife that touched my heart deeply. There is not much verbal and emotional communication between them, but they express their inner thoughts and feelings through their eyes, movements, and the emotions hidden in their eyes. In this respect, it clearly outperforms the remake of "Invisible Friends", and this plot design adds a touch of warmth to the previous plot.

In the movie, the wife of the parking lot owner is diagnosed with cancer, but in order to preserve the fruits of their love, she chooses to give up ** and lies to her husband that she is having an affair. When the owner of the depot was taken to the hospital for chemotherapy, his wife suddenly appeared in front of the hospital bed and asked the doctor to operate on her. The owner of the depot burst into tears after learning the truth of the matter, and he blamed his wife for not giving up her life, but choosing to accept it.

Out of deep love, she fears that her husband will not be able to shake off the grief of losing his wife, and would rather sacrifice her own reputation than hope that he will continue to move on. The wife is the most important part of a husband's life. Even if the child is gone, the husband will still protect his wife's life. In their view, love is the most important element in marriage. This basically reveals the true meaning of marriage.

Compared to the remake of The Invisible Friend, there are several close-ups of the shoes in the film, which not only enhances the family atmosphere, but also creates a stark contrast to Shang Wan's past life, further deepening the viewer's emotional experience of the plot.

So, when the story is at its peak, emotions come flooding in. Among the feelings it evokes, there is a force that we cannot resist, and that is the greatness and selflessness of human nature. That's what makes it so appealing to people's hearts.
