Located in Zhongzhai Township, Liuzhi Special Economic Zone, the Loess Slope Tunnel is a small clear distance-separation-large arch structural form tunnel, with a length of 3,756 meters on the left and 3,781 meters on the right, designed as a two-way six-lane tunnel.
The Qinglong end of the Loess Slope Tunnel is located in the middle of the cliff on the left side of the Shuihuang Highway K324+820, and the left tunnel door is the 'tunnel package bridge' section, that is, the Qinglong end of the tunnel is connected to the No. 1 bridge at the foot of the Qinjiao, and the working face is located on the cliff of nearly 90 °, which does not have the conditions for direct tunneling, and the original cliff wall direction and the line direction are at an angle of 60 °, and the surrounding area is a mountain rock that is easily broken, the construction conditions are poor, the difficulty is large, and the risk of safety control is high. The special construction environment makes the project construction face many problems, not only to ensure the quality, to ensure that the construction will not cause damage to the original ecology and the surrounding environment, but also to minimize the impact of tunnel construction on the operation of Shuihuang Highway.
To this end, the project department continued to optimize the construction organization plan, increase technological innovation and scientific research efforts, and designed the "cantilever-inverted bamboo" hole door at the Qinglong end of the Loess Slope Tunnel, which greatly reduced the amount of slope excavation protection engineering.
At the same time, the construction of the horizontal tunnel is used to assist the tunnel to enter the tunnel, and the "hole" is changed to "out of the hole" to reduce the amount of excavation of the side slope and achieve "zero slope". In addition, the project department also innovatively proposed for the first time a method of excavation of ultra-high and ultra-wide large-section tunnels in the cliff section to excavate the loess slope tunnel, which replaces the traditional double-sidewall guide pit construction process, effectively solves the construction difficulties of the "tunnel package bridge" section of the loess slope tunnel, and protects the surrounding ecological environment to the greatest extent.
