Toyota Group has recently launched a large-scale recall around the world, with a total of 1.12 million vehicles affected, including 120,000 Lexus and 1 million Toyota, and the recalled models are Camry, Crolloa Sport, R**4, Sienna, ES250, ES300H and RX350.
According to Toyota, the recall is due to a problem with the passenger seat airbag sensing device, and the strength when deployed cannot be adjusted according to the passenger's body shape, so if it is a petite woman or teenager, when an impact occurs, the force of the airbag when it is deployed may cause injury to the passenger, and it will be recalled for inspection and maintenance.
In this global recall, Toyota's Camry, Crolloa Sport, R**4 and Sienna were all affected by the U.S. spec models produced and shipped from 2020 to 2022, while the Lexus was affected by the ES250, ES300H and RX350 and other popular models, with a total of 1.12 million recalls.
