On November 30th, AISSU (YHV) invited Mr. Joy, the admissions officer of the University of Warwick, and Mr. Tim, the admissions officer of EHL Lausanne Hotel Management Business School, to give a live presentation, share the most authoritative and cutting-edge information on studying abroad, and answer questions for all teachers and students of the school.
At the meeting, the two admissions teachers vividly introduced the basic information and characteristics of the school, such as the history of the school, the characteristic culture of each college, the professional setting, the curriculum arrangement, club activities, the exchange programs of overseas famous schools, and the admission requirements, and analyzed their own characteristics and advantages from the perspective of the university and the international vision.
At the same time, for an issue that students are very concerned about: admissions information, the admissions teacher patiently explained the undergraduate application process, major selection, important application timeline, admission requirements, pre-subject requirements for the corresponding major of the international course, language score requirements, interviews, and scholarship application requirements.
In the second half of the seminar, there was a Q&A session, and more than dozens of students asked questions about the admission requirements of specific majors, the admissions interview process, employment opportunities and international exchange programs. The warm and sunny image of Yunhaigu students left a deep impression on the admissions teachers.
One-on-one consultation
Through the conversation with the admissions officers and teachers, the students learned about the current trend of studying abroad, and also more clearly clarified the direction that needs to be worked on at this stage, that is, how to better improve their personal strength and improve their comprehensive ability from many aspects such as improving academic performance, participating in extracurricular practical activities, and increasing social practice experience.
