According to Article 82 of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, anyone who violates this Law and relevant laws and administrative regulations, evades customs supervision, evades tax payable, or evades the state's prohibitive or restrictive management of entry and exit is guilty of smuggling: (1) Transporting, carrying, or mailing goods or articles prohibited or restricted by the state from entering or leaving the country. According to Article 26 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora, anyone who illegally imports, exports or otherwise smuggles endangered wild animals and plants and their products shall be punished by the Customs in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Customs Lawwhere the circumstances are serious and constitute a crime, criminal responsibility is pursued in accordance with law.

Article 151 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that anyone who smuggles cultural relics, ** and other precious metals prohibited by the State from export, or precious animals and their products prohibited by the State from being imported or exported, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than ten years and shall also be fined;where the circumstances are especially serious, a sentence of 10 or more years imprisonment or life imprisonment is to be given, and confiscation of property is to be given;where the circumstances are more minor, a sentence of up to five years imprisonment and a concurrent fine is to be given.

3. What are the conditions that must be met to apply for the import and export of endangered wild animals and plants and their products?

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 8 and 9 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora:

The import of endangered wild animals and plants and their products must meet the following conditions:
