Recently, Muxiang Town issued a proposal titled "Simply Run Red and White Happy Events and Build Beautiful Villages Together", calling on the broad masses of people to work together to promote a new trend of social civilization, break bad Xi, and jointly build a beautiful countryside.
The proposal pointed out that due to the influence of traditional concepts and bad Xi customs, uncivilized phenomena have appeared in some places in red and white ceremonial activities, such as bride price, waste, and bad customs. To this end, the following initiatives have been put forward by the Mother Enjoyment Town:
First, change customs, party members and cadres take the lead in setting an example. Advocate party members and cadres to promote the change of customs and simple red and white ceremonies as their own responsibility, adhere to the principle of thrift and simplicity, start from themselves, and become an example of promoting the new trend of social civilization.
Second, the new marriage is done, and young friends take the lead in promoting it. Call on young friends to refuse bride price, luxury convoys, and extravagant performances, advocate controlling the scale of wedding banquets, narrowing the scope of banquets, reducing the number of banquet days, and not making a big deal out of vanity comparison.
3. The funeral should be handled simply, and all the people should consciously implement it. Advocate diligence and thrift, adopt environmentally friendly, clean, traditional and simple funeral methods, do not sing on stage, make high-pitched noises, and advocate a solemn way of expressing remembrance of the deceased.
Fourth, do not do happy events, refuse to participate in the idle wine. Call on the masses to consciously do not hold banquets for festive matters such as the first birthday of the full moon, going to school and joining the army, housewarming and opening, birthday celebrations, etc., advocate holding small family banquets to celebrate, abandon pomp and comparison, and achieve civilization and frugality.
