Hanjiang Tool Factory is located in Zongying Town, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. On July 1, 1967, approved by the State Planning Commission, it was a large-scale precision and complex tool production plant in Shaanxi Province that was relocated to Harbin No. 1 Tool Factory. Construction began in October 1968 and production began in December 1973. In May 1970, it was delegated to Shaanxi Province by the First Ministry of Machinery Industry. It is one of the three major manufacturers of complex cutting tools in China.
In the 15 years since it was put into operation, the factory has produced a total of 14.25 million pieces of various types of cutting tools, and completed a total industrial output value of 3500 million yuan, 6355 profits and taxes10,000 yuan. It has won more than 160 awards from various departments, including 15 honors and awards awarded by the National Economic Commission and the State Planning Commission, "National Advanced Enterprise Rectification Unit" and "Quality Management Award Enterprise" by the Ministry of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, "Six Good" Enterprises in Shaanxi Province, "Civilized Unit in Shaanxi Province", and 15 honors and awards. The factory covers an area of 310,000 square meters. The total national investment is 65 million yuan, and the original value of fixed assets is 598770,000 yuan. The output value of high-quality products accounts for 52% of the total annual output value.
The factory has the largest constant temperature workshop in the same industry in China and a model heat treatment workshop in the whole industry. There are advanced equipment and instruments for tool production imported from the United States, the Federal Republic of Germany and Japan. Such as AGW-422 hob cutter cutting edge grinder, HSF-33A, -33B, -33D shovel grinder and Mag gear grinding machine and other key equipment, as well as PDVF-250, PCD-6HB large hob cutter inspector, ordinary UMM universal tool microscope, two-second optical indexing head and other high-precision inspection and measuring instruments, as well as PVD coating technology and equipment imported from the United States.
The factory has a large-scale precision and complex tool research institute, which can undertake the development and design of various cutting tools. Among the new products developed in recent years, 32 products have implemented international standards, and 36 products have reached the international level of the 80s. In 1985, the factory was approved by Shaanxi Province as an export expansion enterprise, and the export output value in 1989 was 9.72 million yuan.
