Russian GOST certification mark: the PCT mark is abolished and replaced with the CTP mark
Since June 2021, the PCT mark used for GOST certification in Russia (GOST-R Certificate of Conformity, GOST-R Declaration of Conformity, Voluntary GOST-R Certificate of Conformity) has been replaced by the new CTP mark.
How is the CTP mark different from the PCT mark?
Since June 2021, the PCT mark has been replaced by the CTP mark in terms of mandatory GOST-R certification and GOST-R declaration of conformity for goods.
Differences between signs before June 2021
The CTP mark is only available for goods that comply with the requirements of the Russian Technical Regulations (TR). The PCT mark applies to goods that comply with the GOST certification of Russia. Now most of the Russian Technical Regulations (TR) have been transferred to the Eurasian Economic Union (CU-TR EAEU), eliminating the impact of Russian Technical Regulations. As a result, the EAC or PCT mark is common in products.
Logo differences after June 2021
Since June 2021, the CTP mark has replaced the PCT mark. Now, all goods that have undergone a mandatory GOST conformity assessment in accordance with GOST standards and the Russian Technical Regulations (TR) must be affixed with the CTP circulation mark.
