The SC2121 is a 10-bit to 16-bit resolution resolver-to-digital converter that integrates an on-chip programmable sine wave oscillator to provide sine wave excitation to the resolver. The sine and cosine inputs of the converter allow input 315vp-p±27%。A Type II servo loop is used to track the input signal and convert the information from the sine and cosine inputs into digital quantities corresponding to the input angle and velocity. Maximum tracking rate 3125 rps.

Product Introduction:1. Ratio Tracking Conversion Type II tracking loop can continuously output position data without conversion delay. It also suppresses noise and provides tolerance for harmonic distortion of reference and input signals.

2. System fault detection. Fault detection circuitry can detect signal loss of resolver, out-of-range input signal, input signal mismatch, or loss of position tracking. Each fault detection threshold can be individually programmed by the user to optimize for specific applications.

3. Input signal range. The sine and cosine inputs support 315VP-P 27% differential input voltage.

4. Programmable excitation frequency. The excitation frequency can be easily set to multiple standard frequencies ranging from 2kHz to 20kHz.
