While it is admirable for the soldiers to stand guard in the cold wind, we should also consider that difficult conditions do not bring sufficient combat effectiveness. Imagine if the enemy suddenly attacked, and whether the soldiers who had been frozen would be able to react effectively. If you just put the fighters there, what is the difference between them and the ones. In order for the fighters to have enough mobility, it is necessary to make their conditions better.

If it is really impossible to build a large enough glass outpost, then it is not impossible to install a simple glass post for the soldiers. Each post only needs to have one soldier, and there can be ventilation holes on all four sides, and the soldiers can decide which ventilation holes to open according to the direction of the wind and snow, so that it will make the soldiers more comfortable when they are on duty.
