Terminus Wuhan AI City is a model of low-carbon smart city

Wuhan AI City is the first green and low-carbon smart park built by Terminus in Central China after Chongqing AI City and Deyang AI City. As a pilot demonstration area of AI City, Wuhan AI Park has implemented Terminus' "dual carbon + intelligence" capability system since its trial operation in May 2022, taking the lead in opening up the carbon neutrality path of the new industrial park, providing a sample and reference for the construction of a zero-carbon smart park. Based on the Terminus TACOS platform, the park realizes the transformation from traditional energy to clean energy through the two-wheel drive of technology and management, and flexibly regulates energy utilization through digital means to achieve dynamic and refined management of energy and carbon emissions. Liu Bin shared with you at the scene that with the strong support and help of the district committee and various departments, since the trial operation, up to now, dozens of enterprises have settled in the park, of which the number of science and technology enterprises accounts for about eighty.

In Wuhan AI City, Terminus showed the world the prototype of the future city: integrated charging stations with photovoltaic energy storage, security robots with automatic patrols, non-inductive and barrier-free convenient passage, automatically adjusted light, and photovoltaic power generation for self-consumption, "low-carbon smart" scenes can be seen everywhere in Wuhan AI City.

In terms of specific practices, Wuhan AI City uses effective spaces such as squares and building roofs to build a distributed photovoltaic power generation system in the mode of "self-generation and self-use, surplus electricity on the grid", provides grid-connected supporting equipment, and configures energy storage systems to improve the level of photovoltaic power generation and consumption, and meet the continuous power supply of charging piles, lighting, display and other equipment, and has achieved partial clean power substitution in the early stage. On this basis, Terminus will launch the self-developed low-carbon intelligent product system such as Yuanqi building automation system, terminal sensing equipment, energy router, and Tianheng carbon management platform in the park as a whole, and collect, monitor, store, process, count, query and analyze comprehensive energy data, low-voltage power grid distribution and consumption information, equipment operation and energy consumption, and carbon emission data in the park in real time, and integrate equipment management, remote switching, active operation and maintenance, Functions such as fault handling realize intelligent energy operation and maintenance in the park, and greatly improve energy utilization efficiency.
