A leaked forensic report revealed that the cause of death of a Taylor Swift fan at a concert in Rio de Janeiro last month was heat exhaustion.

Ana Clara Benevides Machado, a 23-year-old student, died before Swift's concert on Nov. 17, in the midst of a record-breaking heat wave.

The forensic report details that Machado was exposed to extreme heat, causing diffuse heat exposure, a process that can take anywhere from 8 to 18 hours reported. Eventually, she died of cardiopulmonary arrest.

CNN Brasil obtained the report. CNN was unable to independently confirm the authenticity of the forensic report.

Machado did not drink alcohol or take any drugs and did not have any congenital conditions, the report said.

The day after Machado's death, time 4 fun, the company that organizes the event, issued a statement expressing condolences for Machado's death and saying that she was helped by on-site paramedics before being taken to the hospital, but died an hour later.

The state of Rio de Janeiro does not disclose medical information to the public, but a spokesperson told CNN that event organizers will be summoned for questioning as the investigation deepens.
