"The Jinzhong Capital Ruins Park presents the scene of the "old city wall". Under the winter sun, the crows shuttle over the "city walls" of Jinzhongdu, flying among the high-rise buildings, as if time has overlapped for 870 years. It is reported that the Jinzhong Capital Ruins Park, which covers an area of about 15 hectares, will be built into a "panoramic museum at the beginning of the founding of Beijing", which has been opened in advance for 26 hectares.
There are four existing ruins related to Jinzhongdu in Beijing, three of which are located in Fengtai District, including the ruins of Jinzhongdu Shuiguan, the ruins of Jinzhongdu and the Lotus Pond. There are only three remnant walls on the surface of Jinzhong Capital City, which are distributed in Fenghuangzui Village, Wanquansi Village and Gaolou Village in Lugouqiao Township, Fengtai District, and extend in Lize Financial and Business District.
In 2016, Fengtai District completed the "Jinzhong Capital City Ruins Protection Plan", proposing to integrate the Jinzhong Capital City ruins into the planning and construction of Lize Financial Business District, set up ribbon greening, and build the Jinzhong Capital Ruins Park. With the design concept of "millennium dialogue, integration of ancient and modern", Jinzhong Metropolis Ruins Park is positioned as a "cultural park that records the long history and great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation" and "the front garden and meeting room of Lize Financial and Business District", highlighting the close connection between history and culture and the international financial and business district in the new era. This park will be a cultural booster for the Lize financial and business district.
The L-shaped area of Jinzhong Metropolis Ruins Park is about 60 meters wide and more than 2,300 meters long, located in the core area of Lize Financial and Business District, and is divided into a heritage protection belt, a business and leisure belt and a natural ecological belt. The middle part of 24 meters is the site protection zone, planted with small shrubs and root flowers, showing a near-natural ecological style. Adjacent to the side of the building is a business and leisure belt, with some leisure facilities and urban furniture added to create a "business lounge", which is convenient for business people and surrounding residents to enjoy outdoor leisure.
