Making ice cream can be a fun baking and cooking activity. Here's a basic vanilla ice cream recipe that you can add to your taste.

Vanilla ice cream recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups (480 ml) whole milk.

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream.

3 4 cups (150 grams) granulated sugar.

4 large egg yolks.

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (or vanilla bean).

Method:1Prepare the ice cream maker: If you have an ice cream maker, make sure to follow its instructions first, including the plates for the freezer machine.

2.Heat milk and cream: In a saucepan, heat whole milk and heavy cream together until warm but not boiling. Stir to prevent burning.

3.Beat the egg yolks and granulated sugar: In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and granulated sugar with a blender or mixing spoon until light yellow and smooth.

4.Heat the cream mixture slowly: Slowly pour the warm cream mixture into the egg yolk and sugar mixture, stirring constantly to prevent the yolk from curdling. This process is called egg white mixing, and the purpose is to mix the egg yolk and cream together.

5.Return to the pan to heat again: Pour the mixture back into the pan and heat over medium-low heat until slightly thickened, but don't let it boil. Stir to prevent sedimentation.

6.Add vanilla extract: Remove from heat, add vanilla extract and stir to combine.

7.Cool: Pour the mixture into a large bowl and allow it to cool naturally, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

8.Using an Ice Cream Maker: Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and blend according to the machine instructions until the ice cream takes on a thick texture.

9.Freezing: Pour the ice cream into an ice cream box or airtight container and freeze it in the refrigerator for a few hours or until it is completely set.

If you don't have an ice cream maker, don't worry!

You can still make delicious ice cream, and here's a vanilla ice cream recipe without using an ice cream maker:

1.Heat milk and cream: In a saucepan, heat whole milk and heavy cream together until warm but not boiling. Stir to prevent burning.

2.Beat the egg yolks and granulated sugar: In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and granulated sugar with a blender or mixing spoon until light yellow and smooth.

3.Heat the cream mixture slowly: Slowly pour the warm cream mixture into the egg yolk and sugar mixture, stirring constantly to prevent the yolk from curdling. This process is called egg white mixing, and the purpose is to mix the egg yolk and cream together.

4.Return to the pan to heat again: Pour the mixture back into the pan and heat over medium-low heat until slightly thickened, but don't let it boil. Stir to prevent sedimentation.

5.Add vanilla extract: Remove from heat, add vanilla extract and stir to combine.

6.Cool: Pour the mixture into a large bowl and allow it to cool naturally, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
