Many doctors see a doctor and ask a question or two, and then they will prescribe an examination list, which is not done in the physical examination, especially the finger examination. Doctors don't do it, and patients don't want to do it. For patients with blood in the stool, finger examination is a must!
finger examination, RMB 10. A lot of problems can be found. For patients who consult online and complain of blood in the stool, I recommend offline outpatient examination.
Common positions for examination:
Digital transanorectal examination may reveal some of the following common lesions.
(1) Hemorrhoids:Internal hemorrhoids are mostly soft and difficult to palpate, and if there is thrombosis, induration can be palpable, sometimes tender and bleeding.
(2) fistula:Extending along the external opening of the fistula in the direction of **, the cord or small induration at the internal opening of the fistula can often be palpated on two-finger joint examination.
(3) Rectal polyps:Round lumps that are soft and pushable can be palpated, soft masses of different sizes can be palpated for multiple polyps, and many polyps with high mobility can be palpated to the pedicle.
(4) canal and rectal cancerIn the canal or rectum within the reach of the index finger, uneven induration, ulcers, and cauliflower-like masses may be palpable, the intestinal lumen may be narrowed, and pus, blood, and mucus are often present on the finger cuff.
(5) Rectal prolapse:Palpate the rectal lumen for emptiness, and preliminarily determine whether there is rectal mucosal prolapse.
Digital rectal examination can also reveal some common diseases outside the rectal and canal, such as: prostatitis, pelvic abscess, acute adnexitis, presacral tumors, etc.;If induration is palpable in the recto-bladder pit or rectouterine pit should be considered for implantation and metastasis of the intra-abdominal tumor.
If you go to the doctor with blood in your stool and the doctor does not check it, it can be said that you have met an irresponsible doctor!
