Basic medicine essentially studies the origin of human beings and the nature of disease, which is a proper and pure basic source discipline, and it is also one of the few five-year majors that only offers a science degree and cannot be examined for a doctor's qualification certificate in the undergraduate program for 5 years, so it is not cost-effective from this point of view.
In fact, the overlap between the subjects and the things learned in the university is more than 80% compared with clinical medicine, and the time spent is about the same, and the things to learn are not less than it, or even more than it, but when it comes to the crossroads of life, everyone goes their separate ways. The future of basic medicine is difficult to read without a Ph.D. It is very embarrassing to take a master's degree in basic medicine to come out and look for a job. I don't want to go to the place where I want you, the people who want to go don't want you, there are too few choices, and there are too few things to do, so in the end, everyone can't escape, and it's basically the public exam. Anyway, why does Qiangji make you so tempted?There are no more than two cores, one is that the school holds various propaganda meetings, and the class even gives everyone **, which is very good, and talks to you about the people's livelihood.
The second reason is that parents have no immunity to prestigious schools, which is normal. But I have always emphasized that the core of studying medicine is the major, and the second is the school!If you get it backwards, then sorry, fate will be rewritten. Therefore, the choice of school that is not sure of the major is a hooligan.
The biggest ** of the strong foundation plan is an 8-year doctoral degree, and there are still a lot of choices after the doctorate from a famous university comes out: you can go to teaching, examination and selection, examination of public institutions, go to hospitals to engage in basic research, or you can go to third-party institutions, such as large pharmaceutical companies to engage in basic research, this is probably the way out of this discipline.
However, there is a core issue that parents need to know and accept: 8 years of basic medicine, it is a proper academic scientific research path that runs towards basic research from the source, and most of the time is engaged in basic experimental research in the laboratory, and the upper limit of your future development is the level of scientific research ability and output articles. But the reality is that 8 and a half out of 10 medical students don't like to engage in scientific research, and the reason why they still grit their teeth and engage in him is because they have to stop and have no choice. Therefore, the basic medicine of Qiangji is suitable for two types of situations: one is those rare chosen children, that is, people are born with a mission, that is, children who are full of love for basic medicine and are cultivated in the direction of the future Nobel Prize;
The other type is that the family has enough material foundation, enough patience, enough tolerance for children, and allows long-term investment with little return;
In the end, what I am obsessed with is the same 8 years, learning a lot of things and clinical, paying a lot of tuition, mastering a lot of things, and doing a lot of work, but the thickness of the results you get in the end is much worse than that of clinical, so this is the biggest reason why I don't recommend it in this part of Qiangji.
