It is understood that this sound system is self-developed by Wei, and the 23 speakers are divided into 22 ** speakers and a hidden speaker that simulates the sound of the engine. The distribution of speakers is more discreet.

In terms of DSP, the NIO ET5 is equipped with an independent power amplifier that can achieve 20 outputs and a peak power of 1000W.
According to the test, when the car is fixed sampling 70 decibels, the multi-** volume of the car machine needs to be adjusted to about 45%, plus the output number of 23 speakers, the rated power of the power amplifier performs well.
In the decoding test session, the top three test files were used, including an easter egg file with a hidden encoding format, and a 7. file that exceeded the decoding specification1.4 files and a master tape with a super high sampling rate.
After actual measurement, although NIO ET5 reads the duration of the easter egg file, it is wrong because there is no decoding information. But with the advantage of multi-channel, 7 was decoded smoothly1.4 sound sources, worthy of the name.
Another master file failed to read due to an ultra-high sample rate. Since this is only a stress test, it does not have a broad meaning, so it does not count as a result.
In terms of design, NIO ET5 innovatively uses a fabric perforation process to replace the traditional aluminum alloy audio cover, making the overall design of the door panel more consistent.
During the test, we repeatedly sampled the vehicle's main driver's seat and the "boss seat" on the right side of the second row.
The ambient sound at the test site was 377db, insert the test **U disk, **powder noise source, sample directly in front of the steering wheel, adjust the volume to increase the sampling amount to 70db, and use this as the test volume. (*This volume is the sample volume of the speaker, which can give better play to the performance of the speaker, but do not use it while driving, it may affect hearing and driving safety for a long time).

Let's take a look at the frequency response curve of the main driver's seat
It can be seen that the performance of this set of self-developed audio trifres is different, and the performance of the mid-frequency part is very good, stable and detailed.
However, at both ends, the bass and treble parts are mainly characterized by a slightly worse response, with the bass response starting at about 50 decibels and the treble stopping at about 10kHz, and the details at both ends are missing.

The sound field settings of NIO ET5 are relatively "magical", mainly divided into intelligent adaptation and manual selection, this intelligent adaptation is to automatically select the sound field mode according to the position and number of passengers in the vehicle.
And when selecting manually, as long as the sound source reaches 51 When the above criteria are reached, the system will unlock the two hidden settings of Surround and Theater. In this test, in order to test the real water quality of the surrounding, the soundfield mode was selected as a manual selection of the theater theater.
It can be seen that in terms of sound field performance, although the ET5 has 71.4The reduction ability, but the performance of the restoration is not very good, and the positioning is not the most accurate, but, thanks to the sky channel, the overall sense of envelopment is very good.

In terms of equalizer tuning, the NIO ET5 appears to be relatively plain, there is no official preset, and it can be manually adjusted in 7 frequency bands.
As for the sound field control, NIO ET5 attaches great importance to the performance of the spatial sound field, so there can be a relatively large difference in each sound field setting, although the degree of restoration is not high, but the sense of atmosphere is very strong.
For users who like to use a USB flash drive to listen to private collections, the USB position layout of NIO ET5 is more convenient, in the front armrest box, although there are two interfaces, Type-A and Type-C, but only the Type-A interface on the right side can read the USB flash drive.
After listening to a number of tracks in the car, I found that I still know NIO best, and the ** in the NIO immersive sound platform is much better than the test sound source that comes with our USB flash drive.
