Introduction

Principle

The ultrasonic driving power supply is connected with the ultrasonic transducer arranged in the housing through a cable, and the vibration output end of the transducer is connected with the amplitude changing rod, and the end of the luffing rod is equipped with an impact pin. The ultrasonic driving power supply converts the mains power into high-frequency and high-voltage alternating current, which is transmitted to the ultrasonic transducer, and then the ultrasonic transducer converts the input electrical energy into mechanical energy, that is, ultrasonic, which is manifested in the form of the transducer in the longitudinal reciprocating telescopic motion, the frequency of the telescopic movement is equivalent to the frequency of the alternating current of the driving power supply, and the displacement of the telescopic is about ten microns. The function of the luffing rod is to amplify the output amplitude of the transducer to reach more than 100 microns, and on the other hand, the impact needle exerts impact force to push the impact needle forward at high speed. After the impact needle hits the workpiece, the energy is transferred to the weld to eliminate the internal stress. The impact head rebounds after being reacted by the workpiece, and after hitting the high-frequency vibration luffing rod, it is excited again, and hits the weld at high speed again, and so on many times to complete the impact operation.

1. Ultrasonic aging treatment can significantly improve the fatigue life and fatigue strength of welded joints. After welding, the welding toe part is treated to make a smooth transition, so as to reduce the stress concentration caused by the residual height, eliminate the defects on the surface of the welding toe, and at the same time produce a large compressive plastic deformation at the welding toe, generate residual compressive stress, adjust the welding residual stress field, and strengthen and harden the welding toe part.
