A week ago, the Serbian Progressive Party (SPP) led by Vučić won the new parliamentary elections, with the pro-Western opposition, the Coalition Against Violence, coming in second with 23 percent.
Within a week of the opposition's defeat, two consecutive riots broke out in Serbia, with opposition supporters unleashing riots in the capital Belgrade demanding the annulment of the election results.
For the first time, supporters of the "coalition against violence" tried to block traffic in the city center and break into the building of the Electoral Commission, and violently beat the head of the INE director.
Five days later, for the second time, nearly 2,500 demonstrators gathered in the square in front of the parliament building in the Serbian capital, trying to forcibly break into the local city**, but this time the Serbian riot police came very quickly, they dispersed the demonstrators by using pepper spray and other methods, and finally ended with 2 policemen seriously injured and arresting 35 demonstrators.
It can be said that the risk of 2,500 demonstrators ending with 2 police officers injured is already very low, and if the riot police come a little later, the consequences may be unimaginable.
Vučić also pointed out that the reason why the riots were quickly quelled was inseparable from the intelligence provided by the Russian security services, and Vučić stressed that Russian intelligence showed that their ultimate plan was to destroy the entire country, but their plan did not succeed.
The Serbian opposition actually has nothing to say, this opposition was only established in May this year, and at first it was only to demand ** control of gun circulation and cancel the propaganda of violent content, and now that it has lost the election, it will be overthrown by extreme means**, it can be said that this is their real motive, and in just half a year, it has become the second largest force in the Serbian parliament, which is obviously inseparable from the support of the United States and Western countries.
What is really interesting this time is that Vučić "publicly thanked Russia by name", especially after the riots, Vučić also personally held a meeting with the Russian ambassador to Serbia Khaltchenko, for fear that others would not know that it was Russia that helped Vučić survive the difficulties.
The reason why Vučić's move is quite interesting is also because this move will obviously make Russia targeted by certain forces or countries, but Vučić is "supplying" Russia. Of course, this is not to say that Vučić "will take revenge", without Russia's permission, it is estimated that Vučić will not do this, which actually highlights Russia's self-confidence.
To put it more simply, at present, in Europe, there are no countries that have sanctioned Russia, except for Serbia, which is Hungary in the European Union, so even if Vučić does not point out Russia, in the style of the West, it will soon be reported that Vučić's quelling of the riots this time is probably with Russia's help.
On the one hand, it is to let the outside world see that the relationship between Russia and Serbia is still very iron, and under the continuous siege of the West, the West has been spreading news, claiming that Serbia is going to be unable to withstand it, and it will also start to aid Ukraine and sanction Russia, and now Russia and Serbia also want the outside world to see that the relationship between the two countries has not been greatly affected.
On the other hand, anyway, it has already torn its face, Russia naturally wants the West to see its capabilities, in 2016, Russia also helped Turkey ** Erdogan quell the domestic "military coup", and in 2020, Russia helped Belarus ** to crush the Western-led "color revolution", so that Lukashenko stabilized the situation and continued to govern. Now it has helped Serbia to quell the riots, which obviously shows the horror of Russia's intelligence capabilities, and the benefits of this are also obvious, and the United States and the West should be careful with their extreme remarks against Russia in the future.
For example, before the senior US Senator Graham claimed that the United States aided Ukraine and let the Russians keep dying, and the money was well spent, but Russia was about to issue a wanted warrant for him as soon as possible, and this person also quickly changed his tune and put the blame on Ukraine's head, claiming that it was Ukraine's "malicious editing", which is the benefit of demonstrating strength.
