In 1927, after the breakdown of the KMT-CCP cooperation, differences emerged within the Chinese Communist Party about the future development path of China. These disagreements involved strategic and tactical differences in the party leadership, sparking a series of heated discussions and debates. To resolve these differences, the Chinese Communist Party urgently needs to convene a national congress. In June-July 1928, in Moscow, the Soviet Union, the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held, and a total of 23 members were elected.
However, one of the ** members did not attend the meeting, but was inexplicably elected as a ** member. What's more critical is that this ** member was a conservative in the party before the election, and even was punished by the party, which can be regarded as a "guilty body". However, after receiving a letter, ** changed his opinion of him, allowing him to be absent from the meeting and still be elected as a ** member. That's it***
So, why did *** become a "guilty body", and what kind of letter made him become a ** committee member from a "guilty body"?**Why did you not participate in the Big Six, which involves the following aspects. In addition, when attending the meeting, he also emphasized: "Comrade * is indeed facing difficulties. ”。First of all, the meeting was convened after the White Terror of the Kuomintang. The April 12 coup d'état by the Kuomintang caused countless Communists to fall under the butcher's knife of the Kuomintang, and the Kuomintang searched for Communists across the country.
At that time, *** was naturally wanted, so he had been hiding to avoid the discovery of Kuomintang agents. So, why was *** regarded as a "guilty body" before the Sixth National Congress? This is because the status of *** in the party was not high at that time, especially after the failure of the "Autumn Harvest Uprising" led by ***, it was greatly criticized, and even accused of "completely violating the ** decision". Because at that time, ** was still imitating the revolutionary model of the Soviet Union, believing that the revolution should break out in the big cities, and that there was no revolutionary future in the countryside.
But at that time, it was believed that the national conditions of China were completely different from those of the Soviet Union. China's big cities were tightly controlled by the Kuomintang, and with the CCP weak, a rash attack on the big cities would inevitably suffer heavy losses. After the breakdown of the KMT-CCP cooperation, the Autumn Harvest Uprising was launched, and he abandoned the task of attacking Changsha under his orders and instead set his sights on the countryside, intending to advance the Chinese revolution by uniting the broader peasant forces. However, due to the lack of troops and the confusion of the troops, the Autumn Harvest Uprising ended in failure.
** He then fell into the fringes of the party and was accused of "working too right," and his post on the Committee of Former Enemies of the CCP was removed from his position as secretary. Therefore, at that time, *** was still a "guilty body". However, during the convening of the Sixth National Congress, ** received a letter from Li Weihan to the Comintern, describing in detail the Jinggangshan struggle led by *** and the situation of the agrarian revolution in China at that time. The letter eventually fell into the hands of Mif, the head of the Soviet Comintern, and aroused his keen interest in the agrarian revolution led by the Chinese Communist Party.
Miff recognized that China needed a path of armed struggle with "Chinese characteristics," and Li Weihan's letter pointed him to a path to encircling the cities from the countryside in Kuomintang-controlled areas. At the Sixth Congress, Miff spoke excitedly, believing that China had found its own revolutionary path. Therefore, the future direction of the development of the Chinese revolution became one of the main topics of the six congresses, whether to continue to attack the cities according to the experience of the Soviet Union, or to realize the encirclement of the cities from the countryside according to the experience of the Soviet Union.
With the efforts of Miff, everyone realized the outstanding achievements made by *** on the Hunan and Jiangxi borders, so in the final ** committee election, even if *** was not present at that time, he still became one of the ** commissioners. More crucially, the idea of encircling the city from the countryside has continued to develop since then, and the party has gradually united and found a path suitable for the Chinese revolution.
** A deep grasp of Chinese society and an accurate analysis of the contradictions in Chinese society have successfully foreseen the future direction of China's revolution, especially the opening up of the Jinggangshan revolutionary base area, so that the Chinese revolution can continue. Therefore, even though Li Weihan's letter played a certain role in the election of *** members, the more fundamental reason is ***'s excellent insight and leadership skills.
It was in this context that the position of ** in the party became more and more important, until the Zunyi Conference, ** actually became the leader of the Communist Party, and the Chinese revolution also ushered in a new chapter.
