The "Outstanding Teacher Award for Computer Science in Colleges and Universities" is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education, the winner of the China Friendship Award, John Hopcroft, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Gao Wen, President of the China Computer Federation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In 2018, the first round of selection and recognition will be conducted for this scholarship program, which will select a basic course offered by undergraduate and graduate students related to computer science, conduct on-site evaluation of its teaching, and commend teachers with outstanding performance. Qin Leihua: "Fundamentals of Logic and Computer System Design", received an honorary degree.

Qin Leihua is the leader of computer discipline in colleges and universities in Hubei Province, the "National Association of Computer Education in Colleges and Universities", "Excellent Teacher in Hubei Province" and "Excellent Teacher". He is currently serving as a teacher of "Principles of Computer Composition" and "Fundamentals of Logic and Computer System Design". The "Principles of Computer Composition" taught by him is listed as a national excellent course, with more than 50,000 students participating every year, and is one of the five most popular majors among the five major universities in China. The teaching content taught has been rated as the "best classroom" by the school, and has won the first prize of the school's teaching quality, the "excellent classroom teaching award", the "Hubei Province Outstanding Teacher Award", the "National Teaching Award" and other honorary titles. First place in the 2013 "New Engineering" discipline competition.

The Fundamentals of Logic and Computer System Design, presided over by Professor Qin Leihua, is a discipline with high theoretical, engineering, technical and practical nature, and is an important bridge for the establishment of computer systems. This project aims to make full use of the advantages of this major to cultivate a group of high-level professionals with the ability to combine software and hardware in CPU design and application innovation for China's "information innovation" and "new form of IT". This project will carry out an in-depth study of the basic architecture, logical algebraic basis, basic combinatorial logic and sequential logic design of the von Neumann structure, and the working principle and implementation of each key module from the logic gate to the processor. The program focuses on improving students' general understanding of computer systems and establishing a general concept of hardware and software integration, thereby improving students' abilities in computer system analysis, design, and optimization. In the teaching process of the course, it will also be linked with the development trend of China's informatization construction, and the technology, platform and resources of the independent IT ecosystem will be introduced, so that they can cultivate their basic capabilities, engineering capabilities and innovation capabilities in the independent IT ecological environment, so as to establish the spirit of science, craftsmanship and science and technology to serve the country.

Guo Hongxing|Teaching results of "Signals and Linear Systems".

Guo Hongxing is engaged in image compression and image recognition, multi-stream computing and storage, intelligent perception and positioning services. As the first author, he has participated in 2 national natural science projects, 3 Hubei provincial natural science projects, 1 Chinese postdoctoral fellow, 1 Huawei University natural science program, etc., and is also the co-developer of the Chinese video and audio coding specification **s version 2 (video). More than 10 national invention patents have been obtained, and 8 have been approved. At present, the platform has been put into use and has successfully implemented the functions of the platform. The graduate students he led have won the first place in undergraduate teaching achievements in Hubei Province. As the main teacher of the "Information Category" course of the school, he has won the "First Prize of Teaching Quality" and "Teaching Quality Excellence Award" of the whole school for many times.

Professor Guo Hongxing's "Signal and Linear System" is his main teaching content, he profoundly reveals the interconnection contained in the process of time-frequency, analog-digital conversion, and the internal consistency between different conversion methods, showing the beauty of its wonderful construction, allowing students to realize the linear time invariant of the ever-changing signal conversion system, so that students can "see a tree, see a forest". Through the difficult process of Fourier transformation and other related theories from being proposed to being recognized by people, as well as the bottlenecks and bottlenecks encountered by Huawei in 5G communication, the students were guided to establish a scientific attitude of "having the courage to pursue the truth", and stimulated the enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of "time is not waiting for me, and leading the new standard".
