The reporter learned at a press conference held on December 20 that the 13th Bird's Nest Happy Ice and Snow Season will be put into trial operation on December 23 and officially opened on December 30, which will span the Spring Festival holiday of the Lunar Year of the Dragon. With the theme of "Dragon Dong Qiang Chinese Year", the event jointly created the first space-themed ice and snow park "Space Creative Ice and Snow Carnival" with China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center and Hangman Culture for the first time.
The Bird's Nest Happy Ice and Snow Season is a signature national fitness event independently planned by the National Stadium. According to reports, this year's Happy Ice and Snow Season will fully return to the mode of joint hosting of the home field and outdoor warm-up field, with a total area of more than 60,000 square meters. Among them, the main home of the Bird's Nest is mainly snow play projects, including more than 20 classic ice and snow experience and display projects such as super ice slide, snow circle square, snow go-kart, snow adventure park, ice and snow car town, etc.
In the "Space Creation Ice and Snow Carnival", the home of the Bird's Nest will be transformed into a "cosmic" ice and snow park. Tourists can gallop down the super ice slide, take photos with the towering "** arrow", and visit a number of space exhibits, and feel the aerospace culture in the ice and snow activities.
The iconic Bird's Nest Ski Terrace is set up in an outdoor warm-up area this year, covering an area of 2,200 square meters and can accommodate 200 people skiing at the same time. The outdoor warm-up field is also equipped with snow fitness and entertainment programs such as snow soccer and snow extreme cross-country. During the snow season, there will also be a children's ski camp, where a team of retired professional skiers will teach skiing by hand.
According to reports, during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon in the Lunar Calendar, the Bird's Nest will also launch the "Bird's Nest Cup" Double Olympic Seat Art Exhibition, inviting 80,000 creators from all over the world to paint the Bird's Nest, and the selected outstanding works of art will be exhibited on the seats of the Double Olympic venues to promote the sustainable use of the Winter Olympics legacy. During the event, there will also be a food street, a cultural and creative market, and a science and technology experience.
