Today, the last day of 2023.

Yesterday, I started to do a review of my work, and posted the first issue of "2023 in the poster" in the circle of friends. Jiugongge can only send nine posters, most of which are related to Weng Cheng, these posters not only have connotation, but also have good artistic quality.

For example, the "Exhibition of Archaeological Achievements of the Earth Management Bureau in Wengcheng" has a unique connotation. The most special thing about this poster is that the opening time of the exhibition is set in 3023. Today, 1000 years later!Of course, this is a kind of whimsy, and it is a question whether there will be human beings in 1000 years, but it does not prevent us from imagining what human and non-human beings will look like in 1000 years, and the state of our "deeds" in 1000 years. This has a great impact on reality, and that's the sense of history that I put so much emphasis on. Rural construction must have a sense of history, and this sense of history must be shown in the details. This poster has become a coordinate, linking our fundamental ideas about history, reality, the future, goals, and achievements. There are some details in this poster, which are also worth everyone's attention, such as AI administrators, wormhole experts, etc., to remind the participating artists what are the bases of our arguments. I hope that all the artists involved in this project will have the awareness and will to face the future.

There is also a very important poster, "My 70 Years of Rural Life in China", which is about Aunt Yang's oral history project. At present, the progress is not very ideal, because of various aspects, including Aunt Yang suddenly came to Guangzhou and was not in Wengcheng, and the allocation of various resources is not in place. Of course, our idea has a deep meaning, and we want to cut into the study of the vast history of China's vast countryside through the specific and micro life of a peasant in Baziyu,—— mainly microhistory.

Another poster is also very special, that is, the "Story of Wengcheng Peasant Artists" series, one of the stories is specially tailored for the "head of the group", called "I am not Fang Lijun". I have very high expectations for this project, trying to promote the possibility of a contemporary artist with great influence and an ordinary farmer who is completely unknown to him, so that it is possible to make their lives more or less closely or loosely linked through art, so as to produce some different sparks in their own destinies. This project is also an exploration of new contemporary art, turning all the time, space, thoughts, and things that should be and reality into a part of the artistic action. We are not only directing and acting, but also living and surviving, which is the ultimate expression that should be there today when the concept of art is generalized to the ubiquitous and pervasive. It is both virtual and real, far and near, inside and outside, unattainable and dusty.

The poster for the most important part of our action, the poetry lecture for rural teenagers in Wengcheng, was not put out yesterday. Poetry education will have more room for practice, which is the poetry ecology we will create in Wengcheng. The poetry ecology is also our attempt to construct a new pattern of contemporary art.

Looking back, all our footholds are actually in the people and the people. The mobilization of the people, the understanding of the people, the doubts of the people, and the linkage of the people are the starting point and implementation point of all our artistic practice. One of the most important key words about the significance of the people in artistic practice is, of course, to firmly grasp one's own "subjectivity", but what is the premise?Of course, I am truly aware of the existence of my own subjectivity. To this end, we have done a lot of work, first of all, to make the masses aware of the existence of "me" and the existence of me as a subject, which is the premise of all our artistic practices.
