Speaking of the brand Jiyue, everyone may feel a little unfamiliar, so what about Jidu Automobile?
In mid-August, the "Jiyue" brand jointly created by Geely and Geely was born, and its first model was officially named "Jiyue 01". At the beginning of December, we conducted a test drive for the Jiyue 01 Max Performance version, and let's take a look at whether Geely's leading car manufacturing can be stronger than the leading products.
First, the appearance of the body
In terms of appearance, Jiyue 01 adopts a minimalist design style and does not have too many elements. The front part of the face adopts a closed grille, with curved headlights on both sides and a through-type light strip, which is full of styling. The black body is even more stable and profound.
Coming to the side of the body, you can see that the new car has canceled the traditional door handle design, and the door opening method has been changed to voice wake-up, digital key or two circular buttons on the B-pillar and C-pillar on both sides to open or close, highlighting the B-frame and making the body more concise.
The rear design of this car still implements the minimalist style, using the more popular through-type taillight design, and the shape is consistent with the headlight cluster, forming a good echo.
The tail is also equipped with an electric lifting rear wing. In automatic mode, when the vehicle slows down to less than 65 km h or more than 95 km h, the rear wing will automatically retract or raise to reduce wind resistance. It can also be opened and closed manually in the car or woken up by voice.
2. Spatial performance
The length, width and height of the Jiyue 01 are 4853*1990*1611mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm.
In terms of rear space, taking a small partner with a height of about 165cm as an example, after the front row is adjusted to this driving position with a suitable height, the front space of the rear legs is about 25cm, and the overhead space is about 10cm.

In terms of car machine system, Jiyue 01 is equipped with 8295 chips, and also has entertainment functions such as game halls, KTVs, movie halls and lounges. When playing racing games, we can control them through the steering wheel, controller, touch screen, etc., and devices such as seats and seat belts can also be linked to the game to present a more realistic feeling. In the past, sitting in the car and waiting for someone was more boring, but with these features, waiting for someone may also become a kind of enjoyment.
In lounge mode, the air conditioning, lighting and sound effects in the car can be changed according to the selected mode, but the height of the seat backrest does not achieve the desired effect, and if you need to really achieve a resting state, you still need to manually adjust the height of the backrest. In viewing mode, only the 1 3 parts in the middle of the central control screen can be carried out**。
In the optimization of the steering wheel, it cancels the control lever of the traditional turn signal, and integrates the steering button on the steering wheel, which is consistent with Tesla's ** model 3, and the little partner who is Xi to the lever really needs a period of time to get used to it.
Another thing that has to be complained about is that its charging port is set inside the holding box, and if you need to connect the cable to the outside of the holding box, the charging cable may be clipped.

The biggest highlight of the cockpit of Jiyue 01 is the intelligent voice SIMO under the large voice model of Caiwenxin Yiyan, which covers many use scenarios such as inside and outside the car, four-way simultaneous speech and continuous dialogue.
In our day's test drives, it was perfect in terms of intelligence and responsiveness. When other robots are still using four or five scales, SIMO can be woken up by only one name, and even the driver can adjust and use various functions without calling its name. However, it is not yet supported to change the name, and it may be more fun if you can upgrade it in the future.
However, there are a few small issues that need to be briefly addressed:
1) The first is that SIMO is occasionally too "smart", it has the probability of capturing the chat content of fellow travelers, thus triggering certain actions, and the moment it suddenly speaks is still very scary.
2) The second is to use the voice wake-up operation outside the car, which is very convenient, but because of the limitation of the radio position, if the surrounding environment is noisy, you need to call SIMO loudly to hear. During our test drive that day, we encountered the sound of a lawn mower about 30 meters away, and it was still a little difficult to try this operation in the empty surface parking lot.
3) The last point that has to be mentioned is that the official claim that SIMO will not become "artificial retardation" in the weak network or disconnected network, but after we officially set off from the underground parking lot to the ground, the navigation from the originally set destination was switched to other routes without the knowledge of the group, and even directly took us out of Beijing. Therefore, whether the vehicle machine system is really easy to use in the case of weak network or network disconnection requires more partners to verify.
High-end intelligent driving assistance
What does Apollo's high-level autonomous driving capabilities look like?The Robo Drive Max high-end intelligent driving package of Jiyue 01 has four main functions: AP lane keeping, PPA point-to-point pilot assist, APA automatic parking and **P valet parking. In terms of hardware, it has 11 high-definition cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 5 millimeter-wave radars, totaling 28 intelligent driving sensors.
This time, we focused on experiencing the PPA point-to-point pilot assistance and parking function. Among them, the scope of application of the relevant functions of the point-to-point pilot auxiliary PPA in Beijing has not yet been fully opened, and only the section of the Fushi Road Viaduct has been activated in our trip today.
After the PPA was turned on, its performance was excellent in the whole process, with 0 takeovers throughout the whole process, and the lane change process was also very silky, during which the maximum speed was set at 80km h, and the driving experience was almost the same as that of an old driver. If all urban areas are opened, it will greatly reduce the fatigue of drivers. Regarding the speed issue, there are three adjustable gears, namely the normal high-speed speed limit, the 5% speed limit and the 10% speed limit.
Parking is indeed a very practical function for novice drivers or friends who want to free their hands, especially when they have their own fixed parking spaces, it will be very convenient to use **p valet parking. It also supports voice-controlled parking outside the car, and also supports real-time operation of the app.
However, we encountered one of the more interesting things, that is, in the process of using the app to control the car, the whole process is not very smooth, according to the coach's feedback, when the vehicle itself recognizes that the surrounding environment is relatively empty, such a problem will occur, in short, I still hope that everyone can control the vehicle through voice, whether this intention is practical, leave it to everyone to feel in the test drive in the future.
Fourth, power equipment and energy consumption performance
Our test drive this time is the Max Performance version, which adopts a front and rear dual-motor layout, with a 100kw·h CATL ternary lithium battery, with a maximum horsepower of 544ps, a maximum torque of 686 N·m, a full charge CLTC comprehensive working range of 660 km, and 000 acceleration only needs 38s。
In terms of power response, the feedback of the accelerator pedal of this car is very flexible, and the power output is direct, that is, when you press it, the overall effect is very satisfactory. But the feeling of the brakes is on the hard side, and you need to Xi it a little.
In terms of suspension, there are soft and hard gears that can be adjusted, and the soft gear is more suitable for handling and comfort, which is more suitable for home use and daily travel. The harder gear is only suitable for enjoying the fun of sport mode alone.
In terms of energy consumption, according to our record of this test drive, the average energy consumption of the vehicle is the highest at 214kw·h 100km, most of the test drive route is viaduct section, a small part is urban section, the overall energy consumption of the vehicle is still good. However, depending on individual driving Xi, the energy consumption performance will also change.
