The following "poem" cloud: "trembling, like facing the abyss, like walking on thin ice". This poem is from "The Book of Poetry, Xiaoya, Xiaomin". In the Ming Dynasty, Lu Weiqi explained: "This poem is to pass on filial piety, which is the focus of Zengzi's life." "The Analects of Taber Eighth" said: Zeng Zi was ill, and he called the door ** and said: "Qi Yu Zu!".Enlighten the hand!"Poetry" cloud 'trembling, like the abyss, like walking on thin ice', and now and then, I know that my husband is free!Boy". When Zengzi was still alive on his deathbed, he taught **, and he saw that this was the mental method passed down from generation to generation by Confucius.
Zengzi practiced filial piety throughout his life. When he was dying, he called ** over, opened his quilt, and took a look at his hands and feet, and his body, all of which were in good condition, and then said with confidence: "From now on, I can avoid the worry of not fulfilling my filial piety." "Why do you say that?Because as we said before, the skin of the body is not damaged by the parents who receive it. When he was dying, he saw that his body was well preserved, and he said, "Now and then, I know that my husband is free."
Zengzi still did not forget to change the bed mat at the moment of life and death, this allusion is called "Zengzi Yizhen", which is recorded in the "Book of Rites and Tan Gong". Once, in order to express his respect for Zengzi, the grandson of Ji, the doctor of Lu State, specially sent a bamboo mat specially used by the doctor to Zengzi. Later, Zengzi became seriously ill and was bedridden. His student Zichun came to visit him. Seeing that the teacher was bedridden, he heard his attendant pointing to Zengzi's sleeping mat and asked curiously, "Is this the mat used by the doctor?"How lustrous and gorgeous! After hearing this, Zichun hurriedly signaled and asked the waiter to stop talking. Why?He was afraid that his teacher would hear it. As a result, Zeng Zi was very surprised when he heard it, so he said: "This was given to me by Ji's grandson, I can't sit up now, and I can't afford to change this mat." So he asked his son to change the doctor's mat, but his son said, "You are so sick that you can't move, so you should wait until dawn to change it." As a result, Zeng Zi said to his son, "You love me, you are not as good as this waiter." ”
"Why do you say that?Zengzi's following sentence is very flavorful. He said: "The love of a gentleman is virtue, and the love of a fine person is appeasement." It is said that a gentleman loves people with moral standards, while villains love others by only caring about their immediate comfort, so they are unprincipled and tolerated. "What do I want this mat for, it's enough for me to be able to keep the etiquette." Hearing his words, his son had no choice but to pick up his father and change the mat. But before he could lie down, Zengzi died.
These two allusions tell us: Zeng Zi practiced filial piety all his life, did not dare to disobey etiquette, and trembled. Until the end of his life, he can be cautious until the end. The phrase "The Book of Songs: Xiaoya" is to say that we must be cautious and fearful, and be cautious, just like standing beside the abyss, lest we fall;It is like stepping on thin ice, lest it collapse. "Zhanshu" is the appearance of fear, "conscientious" is to describe the appearance of caution, "like facing the abyss" is like standing in front of the abyss cliff for fear of falling, and "walking on thin ice" is like stepping on a very thin layer of ice, lest you fall into it.
Why do we need the attitude of "trembling, as if facing the abyss, as if walking on thin ice"?Because we have to fight against our own desires and Xi. People are greedy, angry, stupid, slow, suspicious, and like wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep. And the more you are in a high position, the more you have to accept all kinds of tests, and the more you have to withstand the attack of "sugar-coated shells". The higher a person goes, the higher the official does, the more famous the person is, and the greater the fame, which is not an easy task. Why?Because he has to pass five levels and kill six generals.
What is this "five levels and six generals"?That is, one's own wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep, as well as one's own greed, anger, stupidity, slowness, and suspicion. You have to be able to overcome all of these things one by one, so that you can reach a high position and carry a high reputation, otherwise you will be eliminated. This elimination is a natural elimination, not someone else who eliminated you, but you couldn't stand the test and eliminated yourself.
Competition is never about fighting with others, it is about fighting against one's own bad problems and bad Xi. For example, some people are lazy, some people are greedy for money, some people are lustful, and some people like to drink and even take drugs, etc., why can't they overcome it?It is because overcoming one's own Xi is the hardest. The great heroes in traditional Chinese culture are not those who defeat thousands of troops, but those who can overcome their own troubles and Xi. A person who can overcome his troubles and Xi is invincible. However, the more you are in a high position, the more you will face, the more difficulties you will have to overcome, and the more difficult the tests and exams you will endure. If you can pass these exams, you will be able to graduate successfully and stand the test. Especially as a prince, if you are high, you are prone to arrogance.
