German kobold Cobb capacitor level level transmitter NRF

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-01-29

The Kobold NRF capacitive level transmitter is designed to measure water-based liquids or oils in metal cans. The probe measures the liquid level by measuring the change in capacitance as the liquid level changes in the tank. The transmitter's microprocessor-based electronics convert this small change in capacitance into a linear, high-precision 4-20 mA loop power signal. The compact, microprocessor-based design makes installation and setup simple. Advanced signal conditioning circuitry dramatically reduces the adverse effects of the coating media. The NRF series of capacitive level transmitters are available in both hard and flexible probe versions. NPT threaded fittings and Tri-Clamp sanitary fittings are available as standard. Standard probes for conductive media are PFA coated and resistant to corrosive media. The NRF is truly designed with the most demanding applications in mind. Alternative versions of the NRF, such as high-sensitivity units for non-conductive fuels and oils, are also available.
