The so-called near-fast combat method is a typical combat method of using anti-aircraft missiles to fight ambushes, relying on long-range warning radar to stare at the target, calculating when the target enters the ground-guided fire control radar lock-on range, and waiting until the enemy plane enters the ambush circle After the ground-guided fire-control radar suddenly turns on, locks and launches in one go, this is the near-fast combat method of ground-guided aircraft, and the Su-34 and Su-35 that shot down the Aerospace Forces in Bryansk in May are also the same way of fighting. Of course, the Russian aircraft must have a radar warning system (RWR), and the Ukrainian army may have used a relatively old warning radar, such as the P-18, which made the Russian army lose its vigilance.
The location of the Ukrainian army, which Ukraine claimed to have shot down 3 Russian Su-34s, is within range of the Patriot air defense system deployed by Ukraine.
