American HACH Hash FP360 SC Oil in Water Analyzer.
Fields of application. Water quality monitoring of industrial circulating water, condensate, wastewater treatment, surface water stations, etc.
Instrument features: A variety of mounting methods are available: immersion, flow-through, plug-in.
High sensitivity. Wide range of operation.
The measurement is not affected by suspended particulate matter in the water.
Sunlight compensation for electrons.
Tests for solubility and emulsification of oils.
Titanium alloy probes can be used for seawater or highly saline samples.
Can be connected to the SC controller platform.
Measuring principle. Ultraviolet fluorescence analysis is a very sensitive method for determining the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water, which correlates very strongly with the amount of oil in the water. The intensity of radiation from the water sample is measured, which absorbs light at a shorter wavelength and emits light at a longer wavelength (fluorescence) Different types of oils have different radiation characteristics. The FP360 SC is a stable UV fluoroluminometer. The miniature design and long-term stability make it ideal for aromatic hydrocarbon monitoring in the industrial sector as well as in all areas of water quality and wastewater monitoring.
