Today, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Together in the Sun: Evgeny Romashko's Oil Paintings" is held, and if I stand in the perspective of Mr. Romashko, I feel very happy - a Russian artist holding an exhibition at the National Art Museum of China with so many guests present, which shows that his art has universal emotional significance and his art has the power to move people's hearts. On behalf of the National Art Museum of China, I would like to express my gratitude to all the guests who have come from all over the world today, and at the same time congratulate the owner of the exhibition.

The first time I met Mr. Romashko was at the Moscow airport, when he gave me a large picture album and held my hand tightly with both hands, and I felt a sense of strength; At the same time, from his eyes, I saw the brilliance that he had been refracting through his eyes for a long time when he had melted sunlight into his heart and refracted through his eyes in the process of sketching in nature. I was immediately impressed by him and decided to invite him to the National Art Museum of China to hold an exhibition. I think the most important thing for an artist is his true feelings, his enthusiasm, his fire-like emotions for art and life, and this is fully reflected in him.

Today, China in the new era warmly welcomes all artists with the enthusiasm of embracing the world, and this year the National Art Museum of China has also held a number of international exchange exhibitions. Evgeny Romashko's works arrived at the National Art Museum of China three years ago, and the beautiful landscapes of China and Russia that he painted are finally presented to everyone today, and they are displayed under the theme of "Together in the Sun". Sunlight can turn cold into warmth, and ice and snow can melt and turn into warm spring water. The works in this exhibition range from the world of ice and snow under the Russian sun to the gurgling waters of the small town of Shaoxing in southern China. Their common feature is that there is a small boat in the world of ice and snow, and there is also a small boat in the spring water town of Jiangnan - this boat is a messenger of friendship that always sails to the other side.

Today, there are artists who studied in the Soviet Union in the 50s of the 20th century, and there are also artists who went to Russia to study after the reform and opening up. Today, many Russian artists come to China for exchanges, and they regard China as their second home, which shows that art plays a huge role in the cultural exchanges between China and Russia. Therefore, as the highest temple of Chinese art, how to build a community with a shared future for mankind through our platform and let all the beauty created by mankind be displayed here is an important topic that we will continue to promote in the future.

We are all in the sun and appreciate the great nature. At the same time, under the light of the National Art Museum of China, we can appreciate the "second nature" created by Mr. Romashko - let us work together under the light of beauty and brilliance, inherit our strong friendship, and move towards a better future.
