In this exhibition, more than 50 oil paintings and landscapes created by Evgeny Romashko are exhibited. Some of the works on display depict Russian landscapes in different seasons, expressing the artist's deep nostalgia for his homelandThere is also a section depicting the scenery of ancient Chinese towns, where the warm sunshine soothes the simple and quiet ancient towns, full of an exotic painter's love and praise for Chinese customs.

Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China, said that Romaszko has been sketching and creating in China for many years, from Beijing to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, from the seaside city of Dalian to the ancient town of Shaoxing in the south of the Yangtze River. Today, China is his familiar second home. "Under the same sun, China and Russia are accompanied by neighbors, knowing each other and knowing each other, providing a steady stream of creative inspiration for artists from both countries. We hope that through the beautiful scenery of China and Russia painted by this Russian painter, we can enhance mutual understanding and deepen friendship between the Chinese and Russian peoples. ”

Born in 1962, Evgeny Romashko is an avid painter who works outdoors and uses rigorous shapes and subtle colors to compose his paintings. He has been invited to give a solo exhibition at the State Museum of Russia, which is rare among Russian contemporary artists. After the exhibition, some of the exhibits will be donated to the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition will be on view until December 19.
