Throughout the lecture, Professor Wang Shuanghuai combined his rich research experience and research results, talked about Wu Zetian's life and deeds, told us about his legendary life, and reproduced the magnificent life course of an outstanding woman from a humble concubine to a supreme in the Ninth Five-Year Plan. Wu Zetian was born in the seventh year of Tang Gaozu Wude (624), his father was Wu Shiyi, and his mother was Yang. When he was a teenager, he studied and Xi, and went to Yangzhou, Yuzhou, Lizhou, Jingzhou, and Bingzhou with his parents. She was a talented person of Tang Taizong, and later became the queen of Tang Gaozong.

From a nun to "Zhaoyi", she experienced the dispute over the abolition of the queen. In this process, she Wu Zetian gradually emerged and began to participate in the politics of the court, the system of the dynasty, and the suppression of rebellions. On September 9 of the first year of Zai Chu (690), Wu Zetian held an enthronement ceremony in Luoyang, changed the Tang Dynasty to Zhou, and became the only female emperor in Chinese history.

Under her rule, the politics of the Great Zhou were clear and the national strength became stronger day by day. However, in the first year of the dragon (705), Zhang Cambodia launched a coup d'état, supported Zhongzong, changed Zhou to Tang, and moved Wu Zetian to Shangyang Palace. In the first year of Shenlong (705), Wu Zetian died of illness at the age of 82 and was buried in Qianling with Tang Gaozong.
