New Year's Day is healthy
Beginning] As a very important way of life, sports are respected and loved by the masses. Among them, long-distance running, as an affordable, simple and easy way to exercise, is very popular among people. However, while long-distance running has many benefits in terms of exercising, staying healthy, and more, it is not suitable for everyone. Based on TCM theory and rich experience, we have found that the following groups of people are not suitable for long-distance running.
1.People with weak lungs and spleen: According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the lungs and spleen are important organs of the human body. The lungs are the main qi, and the spleen is the main movement. If the function of the lungs and spleen is weak, it means that the flow of qi and blood is not smooth, and symptoms such as shortness of breath and fatigue are prone to occur. For such people, long-distance running will lead to excessive consumption of qi and blood, and it is easy to have symptoms such as asthma and palpitations, and may even lead to detachment and general fatigue. Therefore, people with weak lungs and spleens should choose other forms of exercise that are suitable for them, such as walking, tai chi, etc.
2.Patients with high blood pressure and heart disease: long-distance running requires greater physical endurance and cardiopulmonary function. For people with high blood pressure and heart disease, this high-intensity exercise can lead to overload of the heart and even trigger dangers such as heart attack. Therefore, such people should choose light aerobic exercise, such as walking, jogging, etc., to ensure the safety of the cardiovascular system.
3.Patients with fracture or joint injury: long-distance running has a greater impact on bones and joints, and is not suitable for patients with fracture or joint injury. In the fracture or joint injury stage, tissue repair and structural recovery take a long time, and long-distance running can increase the burden on the injured area and delay the progress. This group of people can choose low-impact exercises, such as swimming, yoga, etc., to promote** and maintain good health.
4.Qi deficiency and blood stasis: According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, qi deficiency and blood stasis are an important cause of many diseases in the human body. People with qi deficiency and blood stasis often experience symptoms such as fatigue, dull yellow complexion, and weakness of limbs. Long-distance running requires sufficient qi and blood**, and for people with qi deficiency and blood stasis, this high-intensity exercise will lead to more serious qi deficiency and blood stasis symptoms. Therefore, people with qi deficiency and blood stasis should choose light aerobic exercise that is suitable for them, such as brisk walking, jogging, etc., to maintain good health.
All in all, long-distance running, as an affordable, simple and easy form of exercise, is suitable for most people to a certain extent. However, long-distance running is not suitable for everyone. People with weak lungs and spleen, people with high blood pressure, heart disease, patients with fractures or joint injuries, and people with qi deficiency and blood stasis should choose other exercises that are suitable for them to maintain good health.
