At the recent TGA Game of the Year Awards, Sean Murray, director of Hello Games Studios, officially announced the new game Light No Fire. This upcoming open-world fantasy survival game seems to have a similar formula to their previous title, No Man's Sky. They plan to create a borderless open world that is larger than Earth and recreate an Earth-like planet.
The planet is touted as a "truly open world", with miles of mountains and state-sized islands. In a blog post on Steam, they revealed more details about Light No Fire and expressed their gratitude for their support of No Man's Sky over the years.
Light No Fire is a game about adventure, building, survival, and exploration. Set on a fantastic planet the size of Earth, the game is filled with immersive biomes, unique enemies, and valuable resources, bringing RPG depth into a free survival sandbox.
Players create a life together. Meet players from all over the world to build a life, explore and survive together. Build long-lasting buildings and communities, or discover the world for others on your own. Every mountain is climbable, and the view below is endless, and the ocean and continent are perhaps unseen by others. Sail across vast oceans and rivers, ride wild beasts through fantastical landscapes, and fly dragons over unknown landscapes.
There is no release date for Light No Fire yet, but we can already anticipate what kind of surprises and experiences the game will bring us. We look forward to the early release of this game and more exciting games from Hello Games Studios.
