From December 4th to 5th, in southern Sichuan, the newly built Sichuan Xuyong-Guizhou Bijie railway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour was unveiled and had the conditions for opening to traffic. The railway starts from Xuyong North Station, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, passes through Xingwen County, Yibin City, Weixin County, Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, and ends at Bijie East Station in Guizhou Province, with a total length of 191904 kilometers, is a national I single-line passenger and freight co-line electrified railway, with the Sichuan-Yunnan section and Guizhou section of the sectional construction. The railway runs through the mountains and valleys at the junction of the three provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou with changeable topography, and transitions from the Sichuan Basin to the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.
