More than 150 experts, scholars and graduate students from dozens of universities in China participated in the conference to exchange research results in the field of innovation and integration of big data technology and ideological and political education.
The conference was sponsored by the Training and Research Center for Ideological and Political Work Teams in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education (Central China Normal University), the School of Marxism of Central China Normal University, and the Editorial Department of School Party Building and Ideological Education, and supported by the Editorial Department of Journal of Guizhou Normal University. The conference focused on the topics of "Innovative Research on Theory, Method and Practice of Ideological and Political Education in the Era of Big Data", "Research on the Application System of Big Data in Ideological and Political Education", "Research on the Construction of Application Scenarios of Precise Ideology and Politics in Colleges and Universities", etc., and conducted 20 expert reports, which deeply advanced the frontier issues in the field of ideological and political education theory and practice.
Chen Diming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Central China Normal University, said that it is of great significance and broad prospect to study the application of modern information technology in the innovation and development of ideological and political education, and hoped that this forum will focus on forming systematic and original achievements with more international influence in the frontier exploration of ideological and political education, so as to build a solid foundation and strategic support for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.
It is reported that during the visit, the participants experienced the metaverse demonstration course built on "VR technology", visited the National Education Big Data Engineering Laboratory, and gained an in-depth understanding of the specific model of information technology-enabled ideological and political education.
