The biggest international event in the world in 2023 is none other than Russia and Ukraine

As a veteran who has served for more than 30 years, when I was a platoon commander, I experienced the 1984 Lao Son self-defense counterattack against Vietnam. In 2006, when I was appointed Colonel Battalion Commander of the Chinese Battalion of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, I experienced the rigors of the Lebanese-Israeli War, which broke out suddenly in the summer of that year.

It is precisely because of this experience of participating in the war that studying war has become my greatest hobby.

When the Russia-Ukraine war broke out in February 2022, the Russia-Ukraine war naturally became the focus of my research.

In 2023, the Russia-Ukraine war will enter a stalemate. In fact, this is not a war between Russia and Ukraine, but a battle of determination, endurance, and strength between Russia and more than 40 countries in the United States and the West with the strength of one country.

The essence of the Russia-Ukraine war is the most complex war in human history so far.

Its most fundamental essence is actually a war against expansion. It is a war launched by Russia on its own initiative in the face of NATO's expansion over the years, and in order to avoid the emergence of the most severe security threat.

For Ukraine, on the surface, this is a war to "defend the homeland and defend the country", but in essence, it is a war of people who sacrifice their own security and national lives for the interests of the United States.

As Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, one of NATO members, said a few days ago, it was NATO that paid for the loss of Ukraine's land with their lives, hoping to defeat Russia on the front line and trigger regime change in Russia.

But Orban did not see clearly the real strategic goal of the United States - killing two birds with one stone: to defeat Russia with war, and at the same time use war to hit the EU economy hard, weaken the euro, which is comparable to the dollar, ensure the hegemony of the dollar's international final account currency, and achieve the long-term goal of shearing the world's wool with the dollar.

In the eyes of the United States, Ukraine is nothing but tools and cannon fodder of the United States, and the Ukrainian army is nothing more than a "supernumerary army" of the United States. Therefore, Ukrainian officers and soldiers are not fighting for their own country at all, but for the strategy and interests of the United States. This is why the United States is coercing countries, including Japan and South Korea, to aid Ukraine.

For the European Union and other NATO member states, their assistance to Ukraine to continue the war is essentially sacrificing their own interests to achieve the strategic goal of the United States to defeat Russia and damage the European economy and the euro.

The EU's sanctions against Russia have reached the point where it is impossible to find a sanction project, and the blowing up of the Nord Stream pipelines has caused the EU energy crisis and inflation, etc., which have dealt a heavy blow to the EU's economy. In 2021, the euro, which already accounts for about the same proportion as the US dollar, in the proportion of the international ** final account currency, the euro increased from 36 in December 202165%, down to 23. in October 20236%。And the dollar is from 4051%, up to 465%。This shows how much the war cost the EU has paid

But what is the state of war like today?

Again, in the words of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban the other day, it is more convincing: "From what we are doing now, it is clear that the Ukrainians cannot win on the front", "The Russians will not be defeated, and there will be no regime change in Moscow, this is the reality".

This is really a defeat for the United States, NATO, Japan, South Korea and other countries. And this defeat will become even more obvious, culminating in an event with a landmark failure: a ceasefire.

The situation of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2023, that is, the "spring big **" Zelensky declared at the end of last year that both Ukraine and the United States were shouting about "defeat Russia in the spring, end the war, and go to Crimea to see the sea in the summer", has not been realized at all. Ukraine didn't even have a decent **, but instead lost hundreds of thousands of troops and lost **Mutter and other strategic points.

Any quality author list war will always come to an end someday. Especially with the outbreak of the Palestinian-Israeli war, the United States and the West had no choice but to shift the focus of the war to the Middle East, and Ukraine has been de facto abandoned.

The American camp has already moved on to aid, tired, tired of it. Such an outcome, that means, Ukraine must accept reality and finally cease fire.

This reality is the loss of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson from the administrative division.

As for Zelensky, as the person responsible for fighting for the United States and sacrificing Ukraine's core interests and people's lives, there are only three options for the outcome: go to prison, go into exile, and be assassinated.

The tragedy in Ukraine is a lesson for the whole world: a country and a nation must be independent and must not be dependent on any country, let alone the United States.

This is also a lesson that Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and other countries that the United States must follow.
