Step 1: Focus the lens.
The first critical step in the projector debugging is to complete the meticulous focusing work, at present, most of the low-end home theater projectors are without electric focusing function, in order to be able to focus more accurately, two people need to cooperate at the same time, one is next to the projector for lens focusing, and the other needs to be carefully observed in front of the screen.
If the projector itself has the function of electric focusing, then the whole work will be relatively simple, the user only needs to complete the adjustment of the details in front of the projection screen through the remote control, and it is also very particular about what kind of picture to choose for focusing, you can choose the built-in focus adjustment screen of the projector, or you can choose the special picture for focusing in the disc.
If the user used 235:1 anamorphic lenses and projection screens, 16:9 and 2 need to be set in the projector35:1 Two different lens modes, and they are saved in the projector, of course, both modes should be accurate focusing, and the projector will remember the data of focus, corners and even lens displacement at the same time.
Step 2: Debugging of the bulb.
The next thing we need to consider is which bulb mode to choose. Under normal circumstances, the projector will come with two or three lamp modes, such as high power consumption, normal and energy-saving mode, if in the living room under the shading is not perfect, it is recommended to use high power consumption or normal mode, but this will lead to a shortened life of the bulb, so even in the living room environment, you should do some of the most basic shading treatment, so that the impact of ambient light is minimized, try to use energy-saving mode in exchange for a longer use time.
At present, most entry-level home theater projectors often have a standard light output of more than 2000 lumens. Therefore, even in the energy-saving mode, it can basically meet the projection needs of 100 inches. In addition, in the lamp power menu, most projectors will have a high-altitude mode, which is aimed at users in highland areas. For the average user, try to turn it off, otherwise it will affect the service life of the bulb.
Step 3: Signal input.
Before proceeding with the basic debugging of the projector, it is important to note that the tuning values of most display devices are related to the input, in other words, if you are in HDMI10 input signal, then the value of the tuning is only for HDMI10 port, if HDMI2 is plugged in instead0 port, then all the picture parameters must be reset.
Therefore, for those users who have multiple sources, it is necessary to pay attention to the image adjustment of each source, and the source equipment should be reset every time the source equipment is replaced. Although these tasks are more tedious, in order to get the most ideal picture, this kind of work can not be saved, and in addition, pay attention to save the adjusted data when adjusting the screen, otherwise the data may disappear after shutting down.
Step 4: 3D projection mode debugging.
In fact, the setting of 3D projection mode is also an indispensable key step, especially for those who are eager to get the ideal stereoscopic picture of the audio-visual enthusiasts, first of all, the user needs to find the location of the 3D setting menu in the projector, some projectors are placed in the basic menu of the 3D setting menu, but some projectors have a special 3D setting menu, the user only needs to set it through the special button in the remote control.
Generally speaking, the projector will automatically recognize the 3D signal as long as the source outputs a 3D signal, but in a few cases it is set manually, and the user can enter the 3D menu to select the appropriate 3D picture mode.
In addition, there are some settings about the projection screen size, 3D depth, subtitle depth, etc., in the 3D settings menu, which users can set according to the actual usage. At present, most of the stereoscopic effects of 3D movies are extended outward, if the user sees that the picture is shrinking inward, they need to select the inversion function in 3D mode to adjust the transmission order of the left and right eye signals of the 3D synchronization signal.
In addition, some projectors have the function of 2D to 3D, which is for ordinary 2D program sources, not the original 3D program source, and the stereoscopic effect is far inferior to the direct**3D original program.
Step 5: Adjust the picture effect.
Generally speaking, we should choose a mode that is closer to the standard picture as the basis for adjustment, usually the default mode, the cinema and standard mode settings are the most accurate, but if in the case of the living room, if you want to get enough energy in the picture mode, dynamic and natural mode are more suitable, they can often provide higher output brightness.
When the appropriate picture mode is selected, we can use the Blu-ray test disc as a picture adjustment tool, which has a relatively rich ** adjustment screen, which is very important for adjusting brightness, contrast, color and other options, in addition, each test of the test disc has a relevant instruction wizard, which is particularly convenient to use.
Test black, white, and gray scales.
Test contrast and brightness.
When adjusting the picture, you should first adjust the brightness to get enough black without losing a lot of dark details, and then adjust the contrast to get enough highlight energy and detail, so as to get the maximum dynamic range.
Overscan test screen.
Test color reproduction.
After completing the adjustment of brightness and contrast, don't forget to adjust the sharpness, sharpness is also very important for the reproduction of picture details, we need to pay attention to the fact that when adjusting the sharpness, it is not the bigger or smaller the better, it is best to be just right, you can make detailed adjustments according to the relevant test screen of the test disc, otherwise it is easy to have text or image edge ghosting.
After the adjustment is completed, you can use the familiar picture to determine whether the color can meet the requirements.
