Commenting on the five major changes in the way of tourism

Recently, I have participated in a number of activities, had in-depth exchanges with colleagues in the industry, and summarized five key points on the current changes in tourism methods to share with you.

The first change is the change in the way people travel, with more people preferring independent travel, small groups and family travel. Compared with traditional OTAs and e-commerce platforms, it tends to be a short**-based content platform and attaches importance to word-of-mouth communication. With the rapid rise of Douyin, this has put some pressure on Meituan, Ctrip, etc.

Secondly, the travel radius shows a trend of polarization. Short-distance travel is mainly focused on the range of half an hour to one hour, while long-distance travel covers Xinjiang, Qinghai, ** and other places, and even extends to foreign countries.

The third aspect focuses on two groups of travelers who have attracted much attention. One is family tourism driven by parent-child demand, and the other is group or independent travel for the elderly.

Fourth, it involves the evolution of travel themes, many traditional themes have been rehyped this year, and the popularity of outdoor, hiking, and cycling is obvious, and the explosion of jackets is one of the manifestations.

Finally, the travel budget, air tickets are generally **50%, and the resource side has led to an increase in overall travel costs, significant differences in class differentiation and consumption classification, and a prominent downgrade in middle-class consumption. Cultural and tourism colleagues need to adjust their business strategies and respond flexibly to market trends to ensure that they remain competitive in the current market environment.
