On the morning of December 13, the final of the first new farmer live broadcast e-commerce competition in Kunshan was held. With the theme of "Lucheng Native Products, Cloud Enjoyment Kunwei", the competition passed the preliminary round, expert review and other links, and finally 10 participating teams stood out and met in the finals on the same day. Vice Mayor Shan Jie attended the event.
At the finals, the "live broadcast experts" showed their skills and tried their best to introduce the characteristics, quality, price and benefits of Kunshan real estate agricultural products such as Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, phalaenopsis, succulents, and Wansanhoof to netizens through the Douyin platform, showing the "hardcore" live broadcast ability. The majority of netizens were also very popular, and they placed orders in the live broadcast room, and the sales scene was very hot. The live broadcast lasted for one hour, with a total of 47,596 people, 4,686 transactions, and a total turnover of more than 370,000 yuan.
The final invited 10 experts from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China Live E-commerce Think Tank, Suzhou Agriculture and Rural Bureau and other units to form a panel of judges. At the competition site, the judges scored according to the on-site performance of the live broadcast room presentation, live broadcast atmosphere and live broadcast speech, and the live broadcast sales results were scored according to the transaction amount, the number of transaction orders, the conversion rate and the stay rate. In the end, the Siji Lianyang team stood out in the competition and won the first prize.
As the land of fish and rice, Kunshan produces a variety of high-quality agricultural products such as Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, Meishan pork and Bailu rice. In recent years, our city has adhered to the digital agricultural technology to empower agricultural development, combined with characteristic brands, correctly guided agricultural market entities to carry out e-commerce applications, continued to build a good e-commerce environment for agricultural products, and continuously promoted the rapid and healthy development of e-commerce of agricultural products. At present, a total of 90 enterprises have opened a total of 268 agricultural products through well-known third-party online sales platforms and self-built platforms such as Jingdong, Pinduoduo and Douyin. In 2022, the city's rural e-commerce transaction volume will exceed 2.5 billion yuan.
At present, the e-commerce of agricultural products is ushering in a major historical window of development, and it is a new track of trillions of yuan, full of opportunities and challenges. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said that the holding of the first new farmer live broadcast e-commerce competition is the first in the province, and in the future, it will continue to explore the new format of "live broadcast + e-commerce + agriculture" in the digital economy, further explore, support and cultivate local "rural Internet celebrity" talents, create a sustainable "rural Internet celebrity live broadcast" IP, press the "acceleration button" of agricultural product e-commerce, take the "traffic express", and achieve a win-win situation of "volume + sales".
