In order to comprehensively reflect the progress of the implementation of the Programme for the Development of Children in China (2021-2030) (hereinafter referred to as the Outline), the National Bureau of Statistics conducted a comprehensive analysis of the progress of the implementation in 2022 in seven areas, including children's health, safety, education, welfare, family, environment, and legal protection, based on the statistical monitoring indicator system of the Outline and data from relevant departments. The results show that the overall progress of the implementation of the 2022 Outline is progressing smoothly, with further improvement in children's health, continuous improvement in the safety environment, comprehensive protection of the right to education, continuous improvement in the level of child welfare, continuous improvement of the family support system, further optimization of the growth environment, and acceleration and improvement of the legal protection mechanism for children.
1. Children and health
1) The health level of children has been further improved. We will continue to improve the children's medical and health service system, and the infant mortality rate will be further reduced. By the end of 2022, there were 3,031 maternal and child health care institutions and 158 children's hospitals in China, and the number of maternal and child health care institutions increased to 6270,000 people, and the number of pediatricians reached 2260,000 people, and the number of pediatric beds reached 5680,000 sheets. 5) Attention is paid to the protection of children's physical and mental health. Improve the system of students' health examinations and physical fitness monitoring, strengthen the monitoring of children's psychological and behavioral development, popularize children's psychological and behavioral development and health knowledge, and promote the improvement of children's physical fitness and mental health development.
