At more than 12 noon on December 17, a nearly 65-meter-long yacht from Hong Kong, China, Wansheng, slowly sailed into the anchorage of Sanya Bay, and the Sanya Border Inspection Station of the Haikou Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station handled the entry and customs clearance procedures for the yacht as soon as possible. This is also the first Hong Kong-flagged superyacht ushered in by Sanya Port since the implementation of the free travel policy for yachts in Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao.
With a total tonnage of more than 1,500 tons, the Wansheng will berth at the Clear Water Bay Yacht Club, and plans to stay in Hainan for about 3 months, mainly to test the docking capacity of marinas and superyacht berths, and to further improve the supporting facilities of Hainan yacht industry and build a superyacht service center in advance. After receiving the forecast of the yacht's entry, the Sanya border inspection station was deployed in advance, communicated and coordinated with the customs, maritime and other joint inspection units, and formulated a special service plan. At the same time, the implementation of the "one ship, one policy" border inspection measures, grasp the ship's dynamics and personnel information in advance, and take the initiative to move the inspection window forward to the port anchorage, greatly shortening the waiting time for customs clearance.
Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao yacht free travel is a unique policy given to Hainan by the state, the implementation of facilitation supervision measures for Hong Kong and Macao yachts in terms of entry, navigation, berthing, tourism, etc., for eligible yachts, the implementation of entry only need to be declared once from the Internet one day in advance, no need to renew the driving certificate and other convenient policies, truly realize Hong Kong and Macao yachts "can enter", "simple procedures", "managed" and "swim". Since the implementation of the policy, the effect has been highlighted, and more and more Hong Kong and Macao yachts have taken Hainan as an important supply base for international yacht tourism "one-way multi-stop" routes.
