There is no way, Shenzhen has to pay 50 billion yuan to build the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage, which will be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. By then, the commuting time in Shenzhen and Zhongshan will also be reduced from 2 hours to 30 minutes.

In particular, when the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge connects to Shenzhen, a metropolis of 20 million people, with nearly 4 million car ownership, plus 3 million vehicles in neighboring Dongguan, if the license plate restrictions are lifted, the daily traffic of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will undoubtedly skyrocket. As for the competition between the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, such a large Greater Bay Area and such a dense urban agglomeration can accommodate two super bridges.
