Leicester City came back from behind to win 3-2 at the top of the table with a 3-2 win over Millwall. Tom Bradshaw opened the account for Millwall, but it was a header from Yannick Westgaard and a close-range goal from Patterson Daka that turned the tide of the game. Ricardo Pereira's shot changed direction after hitting the opposition to give Leicester a two-goal advantage, while Kevin Nisbet scored a glorious goal for Millwall just before the end of the game. The win put Leicester City one point ahead of the standings. Birmingham City manager Wayne Rooney led his side to his first away win in charge of Birmingham City with a 1-0 win away from home to Cardiff City.
With a goal from Juinho Bacuna just before half-time, Birmingham ended their embarrassing record of eight consecutive defeats in away fixtures. The win also marked Wayne Rooney's first away win since taking over at Birmingham City in October. Southampton extended their unbeaten run to 12 games as they drew 1-1 against Coventry City. Hadji Wright opened the scoring and Sam Edozzi equalised. Although Southampton have been fighting for a win, they have managed to pick up just one point and remain in the qualifying play-off places, but are 12 points clear of second-placed Ipswich Town.
Norwich City are riding on a 3-1 win ahead of their upcoming derby against Ipswich Town with a 3-1 win against Sheffield United. Bolha Sans, Ashley Barnes and Jonathan Rowe all scored in the game, while Pele Kadamatri netted a goal for Sheffield United. Hull City came back from behind to win 2-1 at Middlesbrough thanks to goals from Liam Delap and substitute Ozan Tuvan. Emmanuel Ratla opened the lead for Middlesbrough, but Hull City put in a brilliant second-half performance to regain the initiative. The Plymouth man drew 0-0 with QPR after Dan Skar was sent off in the 25th minute. Despite one man less, the Plymouth man earned himself a valuable point.
