Super Eagles striker Samuel Chokouezzi scored a goal for his club AC Milan against Newcastle United in the Champions League. Maldini believes the Rossoneri wasted money when they signed the Nigerian striker from Villarreal for €30 million. Despite criticism from Maldini, Giocuezzi's performances proved to be an important influence for Milan, helping them qualify for next season's Europa League. Milan and Newcastle United have both been knocked out of the Champions League. Overall, Jokouezzi's performances on the European stage are commendable, but he will try to replicate his goalscoring performance in Serie A as Milan continue to compete on multiple occasions.
