In 2023, the collection of cultural relics in the Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall will be enriched again: 824 sets of newly collected revolutionary cultural relics will be collected in the museum, providing new materials for the research and utilization of revolutionary history. After collation, these artifacts are expected to meet the audience in future exhibitions.

Among the newly collected cultural relics, there are precious historical materials, such as the "** Anthology" issued by the Jinchaji Xinhua Bookstore in March 1947 and compiled and printed by the Jinchaji ** Bureau of the Communist Party of China, and the "Constitution of the Communist Party of China" issued by the Propaganda Department of the Beiping Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1949;There are also rare physical objects, such as the 1935 Shanghai Baidai Record Company published the movie "Children of the Storm" theme song (March of the Volunteers) record, the 1949 National Congress of Literary and Art Workers of China (the first cultural congress) commemorative medal, in July 1949 North China People's Post issued "The 28th Anniversary of the Birth of the Communist Party of China" stamps (a total of 7) and so on.

Many of the newly collected cultural relics came from enthusiastic donations from the families of the revolutionaries. Gui Xingxing, deputy director of the Cultural Relics Collection and Research Department of the Memorial Hall, took the 29 sets of cultural relics donated by Zhou Cuiqiao as an example: This year, the Memorial Hall learned through ** reports that the Anyue County Library in Sichuan Province has historical materials related to the first Cultural Congress, which was once treasured by Dai Bixiang, former head of the 44th Army Cultural and Art Regiment of the Fourth Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The staff immediately contacted the library to discuss the reproduction of cultural relics, and contacted Dai Bixiang's wife, Zhou Cuiqiao. Unexpectedly, Zhou Cuiqiao generously took out the cultural relics that have been treasured for many years, including a group of histories of the first Cultural Congress**, the program list of the first Cultural Congress, and the stills and instructions of "The White-Haired Girl" directed by Dai Bixiang.

It is not the first time that some revolutionary family members have donated cultural relics, and Liu Liqun is one of them. He is the son of Liu Zongzhuo, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Political Department of the 35th Army of the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and Niu Yuhua, a former member of the East China Women's Delegation, and has previously donated cultural relics to the memorial hall on several occasions. This year, he donated 26 sets of cultural relics, including 19 letters written by Niu Yuhua to her husband. Among them, 19 letters totaling more than 20,000 words, covering important events and historical contents such as the activities of the Yimeng Liberated Area in Shandong, the convening of the First National Women's Congress, and the shift of the party's focus from rural areas to cities, provide researchers with new historical materials and unique perspectives.

In order to carry forward the noble patriotic feelings of the cultural relics donors and express their heartfelt respect and gratitude, the Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall has set up a cultural relics donation display area on the first floor of the museum. The museum said that it will continue to protect, manage and use the revolutionary cultural relics with heart and affection, fully tap the spiritual power contained in the revolutionary cultural relics, and strive to tell the story of the party and the revolution.
