Located in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the National Orchid Garden of Singapore was founded by Mr Lee Kuan Yew and showcases more than 1,000 species of orchids and 2,000 hybrid orchids.

At National Orchid Park, the garden is divided into four zones: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and each area is categorized by color.

As Singapore's national flower, the Mandai Orchid is a native bell orchid discovered in 1893 by Miss Joaquim. Due to its rarity and uniqueness, it was designated as the national flower of Singapore on 15 April 1981.
